Evergreen is between Beloit and Milwaukee, just off I-43 in Elkhorn, take the US 12 exit north to the course, a couple of miles off the Interstate. There's 27 holes, the North, South, and East courses, all routed through a residential community with the South course the longest at 3,386 yards 35.4/130 from the tips; the East is 3,151 yards 35.5/124; and the North is 3,155 yards 35.4/126; are both around 3,100 yards. The initial 18 holes opened in the early 1970's, designed by Dick Nugent and Ken Killian, with the third nine opening in 1994, designed by Gary Welsh. Played all three courses, East and North were the favorites due to their length. Very well conditioned parkland style of layout with trees lining the fairways, as well as the homes which were a little distracting. Challenging, lots of water, sand, and doglegs, and very well conditioned. Good restaurant in the clubhouse as well. Easy off/on to I-43 if you're traveling through the area.
