Elk Run is east of Kent on the south side of Maple Valley off 272nd St, about 30 minutes from SeaTac. Good, dependable traditional style of layout at a reasonable rate with nice views of Mt. Rainier and the Cascade Mountains.
It's somewhat short at 5,700 yards from the tips, par 71, 67.8/117, and is a shot maker's type of layout The front is tighter and tree lined, while the backside opens up a bit with more water in play. It's not a high end golf course or experience by any stretch, good basic golf at a reasonable price. While it's busy, you generally get around in 4 hours or less, and the rates are very reasonable.
