Eaton Canyon is tucked in between a couple of neighborhoods, the course is really only two fairways wide! It's up in Pasadena at the intersection of Sierra Madre Blvd, and New York Drive. It's a Billy Bell parkland designed 9 holer of only 2,862 yards from the tips, 35.1/120 ratings and opened in the 1960's. Good place for a quick round, depending on the time of day because it does get busy. It has nice views of LA, the suburbs, and the San Gabriels. Traditional style of course with trees lining the fairways, small to mid-sized greens, sloped and undulating, and not much in the way of bunkers. The greens are slightly sloped, but some are really undulating. Late in the day the wind whips through the canyon and can make the course more difficult than it is. Reasonable rates, conditions muni-style, and slow pace of play at times.
