Eagles Pride is on Fort Lewis, about 20 minutes south of Tacoma at the Center Dr exit off I-5. It's open for public play, and with the rates and quality of the course and conditioning, it might be the best value for golf in the area. There's 27 holes in total, the Red, Blue, and Green, the preferred combination for challenge is the Red/Blue. Quality parkland layout carved through the woods, very scenic without homes or development lining the course. Each holes is isolated and unique, and tree lined, so you control your tee ball, or it's a long day. Well conditioned, the rates are very reasonable, but it does get a lot of play and is generally slow. One of the best military courses in the US.
