Eagle River is an interesting parkland style of layout on the Eagle River, with a good interesting mix of holes, doglegs, risk/reward shots, tree lined fairways, water, bunkers, and some more open holes. Long holes, short holes, just a good variety, make for a fun round. It's located up in the northwoods in Eagle River, about 1 1/2 hours west of Iron Mountain. The course was designed by Don Herfort and plays to 6,112 yards from the back tees.

Fine golf course for the money, kind of a typical northern Wisconsin style of course, reasonably good condition, enjoyable overall.
