The course is located near Louisa in the Yatesville Lake State Park in the eastern foothills of Kentucky. It was designed by Arthur Hills, and from the tips is 6600+ yards, and a tough 144 slope. There's great elevation change here, one hole #13, a par 4 drops 240 feet down to the fairway, and is drivable. Great risk/reward holes, but the layout can be difficult with the slope of the fairways, and the change in elevation keeps you guessing on club selection as well as odd lies. Make sure you play it from the right tees for your game. It's run by the state, and is in decent condition, and the rates are great.
