Eagle Pointe is on the east side of Houston in Mont Belvieu, exit 800 off the east Freeway, about 45 minutes east of downtown. It's really a good solid golf course with a lot of variety in the hole layout. It was designed by Rick Forester, and is a par 71 course at 6,502 yards from the blue tees, 70.9/121 ratings, with one longer tee box and two shorter. The course has more elevation change than you normally see in the Houston area, and really makes it a fun course to play. It's fairways are lined with trees with no housing in play. There's a good amount of water and bunkering, the greens are medium sized, hold well, with a moderate amount of undulation. There's also the Eagle Point Recreation Complex here, a good place to drop the kids off while you play a round of golf.
