Eagle Point is south of Birmingham off 280 on the west side, just south of Cahaba Valley Road. The layout is parkland style with isolated holes and tree lined fairways, and from the tips plays to 6,470 yards, 70.2/127 and designed by Earl Stone in 1990. Bent grass greens, Bermuda fairways, rolling hills, challenging course with a good amount of water in play. It's usually in good shape, reasonable rates, and one of the better daily fee courses in the Birmingham area, pure golf, not much in the way of houses along the course.
