Eagle Creek is on the southwestern side of Joplin off I-44, and is part of the Downstream Casino, but open for public play.
Beautiful course and setting, challenging with water in play on 11 holes, a good amount of change in elevation as it's routed over the foothills of the Ozarks, which makes for a lot of odd lies. The front side is over more level land along a creek, while the backside gets up into the hills. The fairways are all tree lined, but most are open enough to hit driver off the tee. It was designed by Don Seacrest, and plays to 6,285 yards from the white tees, 69.5/120 course and slope rating.
