Eagle Creek is north of Appleton a few miles, use exit 15 off US 41, west to WI 76, then north to the golf course, about 10 minutes off US 41. A very well maintained and challenging links-style layout with a lot of water and sand, tall prairie grasses lining the fairways which will test every part of your game, and expose your weaknesses. It's routed over rolling hills with natural corridors lining the course, and no housing or development along the layout. It was designed by Robert Lohmann, opened in 2000 as the Creeks at Ellington. Tough course, not best suited for the higher handicapper, from the white tees, 6,300 yards, 70.4/122, a good test and in great shape, one of the better courses open to the public in the Appleton area.
