Dubs Dread is off US 72 at Hollingsworth Road, and is northwest of Kansas City by about 15 miles. Nothing but traditional golf here, tree lined fairways, fair, but challenging, especially from the back tees with 6,993 yards, 133 slope and 73.8 course rating. Was designed by Jug McSpaden, an early professional golfer in the early 30's and 40's, and was one of the first to shoot a 59, at a practice round at the Texas Open. Nice course, well maintained, some good doglegs, water on 7 holes, lightly bunkered, and small to mid sized greens. Tough scoring if you're off line here, not much forgiveness. Overall, good value.
