Downingtown is located about 20 miles west of King of Prussia in the far northwest Philadelphia suburb of Downingtown. The course is a traditional parkland style of course with tree lined fairways, plays to 6642 yards, 129 slope from the back tees, and was designed by George Fazio, Tom's uncle in 1965. Fairways are wide enough in places, but mostly tree lined, good amount of bunkering, mostly around the greens, and medium sized greens with a fair amount of break. All in all a good solid course at a reasonable rate, doesn't have the caliber as Wyncote, etc, but enjoyable to play.
