Dobson Ranch Golf Course is located between Baseline and Guadalupe on Dobson Road. It's a fine muni, gets a lot of play, is very well conditioned, challenging course with water, sand, doglegs, at a fair price. Parkland style of design, with tree lined fairways, but not too tight, good sized greens, moderately guarded by bunkers, bordered by a housing development on the perimeters of the course. The course plays to 6600 yards from the tips, 123 slope, and a 71.1 course rating, and was designed by Red Lawrence in the mid-1970's.

The course was in very nice shape as it always is. Don't be deceived by the short yardage on the scorecard. Precision off the tee is a must. A little pricey, but you won't be disappointed.
