Lloyd Clifton designed residential development course, 2 miles off I-4, 30 miles east of downtown Orlando in Debary. The course is cut through fairly dense oaks and vegetation, through a series of elevation changes. Interesting course, every hole is different and challenging, and water only on 9 & 18, two great finishing holes. Located on the northeast side of Orlando, rates are a little more reasonable, and the course is generally well maintained.

Pace of play was poor at 5+ hours, the starter was frazzled with the back-up of carts waiting to tee off, and couldn't have been less hospitable, it was as if we were an inconvenience to him. Once out on the course, play seemed to move along, but it still took five hours. The conditions were OK, the greens were starting to looose their winter grass, and hadn't grown in as of yet, the fairways were somewhat burned out, but tolerable. Interesting and challening layout, mostly enough room off the tee, but did hit a few homes!

Teed off at 830 finished in 4 hours. They had plugged the greens a few weeks ago, not quite grown in as of yet, but not bad, should be great next weekend. Always a good test of golf without being too penal. Rates were only $45! Love this recession.

Course was in great shape, greens had been sanded recently, but still rolled true. Pace of play OK at 4 1/2 hours, greens fees were reasonable at $55, always a good course to count on for a challenge.

Most of the fairways are tree lined and sparingly bunkered, and it is forgiving off the tee. The back nine plays slightly tighter than the front. The two closing holes on either side play directly into one another, a great finish to both nines
