Dauphin Highlands was almost sold recently by the county, but it sounds as if they're going to hang on to it, good thing it's a great course for Harrisburg, one of the top end daily fees in Central Pa. It's a rolling links and parkland style course with water features, tall fescue bordering some of the holes, and nice elevation change. There's wide open holes, well bunkered, and some more narrow tree lined holes, a lot of variety with the hole design. The elevation changes throughout, nothing major, but just enough for it to be interesting, and not a killer to walk. From the black tees, it's 7060 yards 131 slope and designed by William Love in 1995, and is located just off I-283 south of Harrisburg, north of the Pa Turnpike.
