Dale Hollow is in Dale Hollow state park on the Kentucky/Tennessee border in the center of both states. The course is a hilly parkland style with tree lined fairways. A fantastic layout, designed by Brian Ault, at 7000 yards all the way back and 131 slope, with three other sets of tees. The first time you play the course it will play tougher than the 131 slope, mostly due to the terrain, and figuring out the best line. The hills provide a ton of different lies and angles to the greens, and is the most challenging element to the course. The conditions are good, for a state park run facility, with zoysia fairways which are second to none for hitting good crisp irons shots. Tough to get to, unless you're staying in one of the area's lodges or rental homes, but an excellent value, and golf course experience.
