Cypress Ridge is on the south side of Arroyo Grande, just east of US 1 off Halcyon Road The course opened in 1999 and was designed by Peter Jacobsen and Jim Hardy, and plays to 6,803 yards from the back tees, 134 slope 72.9 course rating. A couple of tight tree lined holes, but mostly open off the tee with scattering of trees along the fairways, and lots of homes bordering the holes. The fairways are hilly and sloping, and tough to keep the tee ball in play sometimes, a couple of good risk/reward type holes, mostly straightforward overall, the layout feels a little constricted by the homes. Well conditioned, fair rates, not my favorite in the area, but then again one that we play occasionally.

Good course in terms of layout and quality of greens and fairways. Highly recommended if you want a leisurely game on a course that is challenging but is suitable for all skill levels, the homesites along the holes was the only negative
