Cypress Landing is just south of Washington, NC in a housing development bordered by Chocowinity Bay. It's a semi-private course, but allows public play. It's a Bill Love/Ault Clark design through a residential development here with tight tree lined fairways, a little roll to the fairways, good bunkering, small to mid sized greens, and well bunkered. Nice course to score on, from the back tees it's only 6400 yards, 118 slope. Reasonably priced and well conditioned, a nice find here on the way to the Outer Banks, about an hour east of Wilson.

Nice surprise to find this golf course in Washington NC. The course was in good shape, the rates were fair, and it's a tough little layout through the trees and houses, nice setting, will definitely be back.
