Cypress Lakes is northwest of Houston 20 minutes off the 290 at Cypress. It's a Jim Fazio design of 7000 yards from the tips, 126 slope. They say they have the best greens in Houston, believe it, they really take pride in the quality of this course, and the Champion Bermuda makes for the best greens, at least with our weather. They typically roll between 11-13 on the stimp, and have good undulations in addition to the speed. Tight course, the par threes are superb, and there's water on 9 of the holes. Well worth the drive out, excellent course and experience.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!!!!! Thanks to ALL staff at Cypress Lakes Golf Course for completly RUINING my son's birthday! Horrible Horrible course - go anywhere else but here!

Course is in good condition for late fall. If you haven't played here, you should try it at least once. It is a challenging course with fast rolling greens and really a lot of fun to play. The are running an internet special for seniors and super seniors of $29 and $27 respectively. Staff is friendly and helpful.
