Crystal Springs is out in Maryland Heights, off I-270 at exit 20A/ Creve Coeur Mill Road to the west. They've really done a lot with this course over the years, originally just a 9 holer, they've added another nine, brought conditions up, and have fair rates. Nice setting without houses lining the course, either woods or a park, routed through an old rock quarry. Good mix of holes, some parkland style with trees along the fairways, others more open and links-like. Fair off the tee, but challenging on approach to the greens. The zoysia fairways are always better to play on IMHO, the greens are generally in good condition with a fair amount of undulation, but the whole course doesn't drain all that well if we've had a lot of rain. Roger Null and Jack Litvay each designed a nine, from the tips the course plays to 6,807 yards, 129 slope and 73.2 course rating but has three shorter tees down to 5,183 yards.
