Crowfield is on the site of the original Crowfield Plantation house and gardens, and is a course built around a real estate development in Goose Creek, north of Charleston. It's more of a shotmaker's preferred course, cause it's narrow tree lined fairways and water on a lot of holes doesn't allow an off-line drive. Approach shots are to well guarded greens, either by water or sand, but it's all very well done, and maintained. It was designed by Bob Spence, and from the back tees is almost 7000 yards, and a tough 144 slope, but there's three other sets of tees, I'd advise using something shorter!
