CrossWinds is on the north side of the Bowling Green Airport, off exit 22 of I-65, then north on Scottsville Road to Wilkinson Trace, then right. The course is routed around a residential development and by the airport, a traditional style of layout with tree lined fairways over fairly level land. It's a muni, owned and operated by the City of Bowling Green, and is reasonably priced to play. It was designed by Kevin Tucker and from the back tees can play to 6,523 yards, 70.9/123 ratings, and has three shorter sets of tees. It has a feel like a private course because everything is well maintained, nice clubhouse and facilities. Challenging course without being unfair, enough room off the tee, the approaches are well guarded with sand and water throughout.
