Creekside is between Douglasville and Dallas in northwest Atlanta, off I-20 at Campbellton, then north to Ridge, west to Dallas Nebo, north to Westchester, right to the golf course. Half the course is routed through a residential development, the other half through the trees with separate and isolated holes. The front side is more of a drill in course management, where placement off the tee is critical, while the back side has it's share of risk/reward type holes, that provides a number of options to par. This course is tough and long, fairways are hilly, narrow, and not very forgiving. The greens can be very fast and somewhat deceiving, the length between holes is such that it's not walkable. The staff is friendly and helpful, except that they try to cram too many golfers on the course, and the pace of play can be slow. The course was designed by Richard Mandell in the late 1990's, from the tips it's 6,800 yards, 71.7/131, but has three shorter sets of tees, play from the shorter set than you usually play from to enjoy the course more.
