Cranberry Highlands is a muni, but you wouldn't know it by looking at the course, the conditions, or the clubhouse. One of the better courses in the Pittsburgh area, a little pricey, but generally in good shape. It's located at the northwest corner of the Pa Turnpike and I-79 in Cranberry Township. It's an open and links type of course with rolling wooded terrain, and fescue lined fairways, occasionally some forced carries over ravines, which you don't usually find in links courses. Par 70, playing to a total length of 6444 yards, 130 slope and designed by Bill Love. It's a challenging course with a good amount of bunkering, elevation change, and fast, undulating greens. Great clubhouse, and 19th hole, a first class facility, enjoyable and fun to play.
