Crab Orchard Golf Club

Crab Orchard Golf Course is just north of Carbondale, off I-57 at exit 54, west on Main Street in Carterville. The course is a parkland style layout with tree lined fairways over rolling ground, and from the tips is 6,420 yards, par 70 with ratings of 7.10/129, designed by Roy Glen, and opened in 1959. There's plenty of room off the tee, water in play on five holes, light amount of bunkers mostly around fairly good sized greens. Not a bad course to walk, there's slight elevation change. Generally in good condition, rates are low, and pace of play is well maintained.
