The Country Club of Crystal Coast is the between Atlantic Beach and Pine Knoll Shores on the southern Outer Banks of North Carolina, about 15 minutes from Morehead City. It's a parkland style of layout with tree lined fairways, through the sand dunes, and along the Bogue Sound and the Intracoastal with water in play on 12 holes. It's one of the best golf courses in the area, which includes Brandywine Bay and North River Club. It's relatively short at just under 6,000 yards from the back tees, par 71, 68.6 course rating, and 121 slope and was designed by Maurice Brackett in 1970. Played in mid-July, conditions were a little dry, but overall good shape, and fair rates for the area and quality of golf course layout.

Course has a great layout. Get to hit every club in your bag. Fairways and greens had a few dead spots and the traps were like ponds. Overall, a fun course to play.
