Connemara Isles Golf Club

Edit this info

Connemara Isles Golf Club is located in Conamara Gaeltacht, and was designed by Pat Ruddy and Tom Craddock in 1993. This island course off to the west of Galway in Co Galway is a special place on the edge of the Atlantic with views of Cill Chiaráin Bay, Cnoc Leitir Móir and Cnoc Mordáin. The course is great fun to play as there are some interesting routings with the course just laid on the land as it was, rugged shoreline in a stunning setting. The conditions were very good, the clubhouse and staff excellent, and welcoming. It's only nine holes, but it's worth a drive out just to play in a setting like this.

This place is both unique and beautiful, set in the rocky region of Connemara which will have even those golfers normally unmoved by scenery gasping in admiration. It is totally exposed to ever shifting winds blowing in from the Atlantic which make it a completely different course each time you play it. Play this course if you can, you will not have experienced anything like this anywhere before.
