Collindale is a muni, owned and operated by the city on the east side of town, off I-25 at Harmony then west to Lemay, and north to Horsetooth. It's a good value when compared to the other high end public courses in the area, and is generally well maintained, albeit a slow pace of play. The course was designed by Frank Hummel in the early 1970's, and can play to over 7,000 yards from the tips at a par of 71. The middle tees play to 6,403 yards, with a 70.0 course rating and 123 slope. The routing is parkland style of scattered trees lining most of the fairways, very straightforward and playable, little in the way of sand or water, the trees and the smallish, fast greens are the golf course's main defense. Good restaurant in the clubhouse, full driving range, golf shop, academy, and fitting shop, they run a good operation here.
