Wonderful mountain parkland style course of 6903 yards and 134 slope from the tips, designed by George Cobb in 1969. Southeast of Asheville, and just south of Rutherfordton, off US74, exit 173 in the Western Carolina foothills. Very well conditioned, rolling tree lined fairways, great par three,s the greens are fast, undulating and one of the course's main defenses. There's a lot of elevated tees, uphill, downhill and sidehill lies, to heavily bunkered greens. A very challenging course from whatever tee box you select.
