Circling Raven is part of the Coeur D'Alene Indian Reservation Casino, 30 miles south of Coeur D'Alene, Idaho. The course has a little of everything from the 7,189 yards, par 72, slope 140 layout designed by Gene Bates and opened in 2003. The course open with a set of holes which in some ways are links like, open spaces, scant trees, and the ability to run the ball to the green. The course heads into wooded areas with streams, wetlands, a lake, and wooded fairways, Both the fairways and the green complexes are heavily bunkered. There's plenty of wildlife here with deer, elk, and an occasional black bear. hip layout

This course is a real jewel. Set against the side of a mountain, and through a valley, nice roll to the fairways. It is very well maintained for a public course and a great deal for in county residents. Fairways are a bit tight on a few holes and the greens a bit small but overall is a very fair.
