The course is located 20 minutes south of Joliet on Interstate 55, is a bit of a hike from Chicagoland area, but is an interesting and challenging course and in my opinion, worth the drive. It was designed and built by the owner George Kappos, and is a par 72, 6,889 yards, with a 130 slope from the black tees and a 72.9 course rating. It was built on one of the largest strip mines, but was reclaimed and now has heavily wooded areas and marshlands. There's some interesting and very challenging holes, and you're definitely on a remote and isolated tract of land, an overall good experience, if it wasn't so far, I'd play here more often. Maintenance can suffer a bit, but otherwise decent conditions and quality layout for the rates.
