Cimarrone is on the south side of Jacksonville at exit 329 off I-95 in an upscale housing development. Very tight course, both off the tee and on the approach with water or marsh on every hole. From the back tees it's a par 72, 6891 yards, 135 slope, and is a pure shotmaker's course, you won't enjoy it if you're not on target with your drives. Well bunkered, a number of risk/reward opportunities, mid sized greens, and overall in decent shape.

Didn't enjoy playing here, it's just too tough for my level of play. It was unfortunate as well, because the golf course was in excellent condition, not a blade of grass out of play, and once on the greens, I found them to be in great shape, nice roll, subtle undulations. The course is very challenging, you just can't blast away off the tee, a better golfer, someone who can manage their way around the course would enjoy playing here. One the positive side, rates were about half after 2 pm.
