Chippewa is 10 minutes east of Washington, PA off I-70 at exit 31 to the south. It's a decent, parkland style of golf course with some tight driving holes through the trees, but mostly wide open other than scattered trees along the fairways over rolling hills. Good middle of the road layout, some interesting holes, and generally very well maintained. It's only 6,000 yards from the tips with a 108 slope, but a par of 70, and was designed by James Harrison in the early 1960's. Generally, a very playable, if not easy layout, there are a few water hazards but they're well off line of your target landing zones, and no sand. Not much of a clubhouse to speak of, basic sandwiches and drinks. The kind of course you will enjoy playing because you'll score well.
