The Cherry Hills golf course is north of Sturgeon Bay off Egg Harbor Road. It's a parkland layout over rolling hills, with scattered trees lining the fairways, and well out in the country. There's water on a couple of holes, not much in the way of bunkers, and the greens are smallish and crowned and tough to get up and down from a missed approach. The course is good basic golf, and a course we always play when up in Door County, nothing fancy, and not expensive to play. Generally well conditioned, it's a basic back and forth type layout which tests the tee ball with the trees lining all of the fairways. It's short at 6,100 yards from the tips, 69.2/121, but plays tougher than the ratings indicate.
