The Chaska Town Course is a muni, operated by the City of Chaska, but it's a very good muni, and not as inexpensive as munis go. It's a tough design, no matter which tees of the 6 tee box choices you choose. Arthur Hills designed the course, and even though it's mostly open, you need to plot your way around the course to score well. Well bunkered, water in play on only a few holes, and a nice change of pace with open holes, and tree lined. From the back tees, it's 6817 yard, 73.8 course rating and slope of 140. Unfortunately, there's houses in play, lining some of the holes, which takes a bit away from the overall experience. Not for the high handicapper.

Course was surprisingly dry for all the rain we had the previous few days. Great layout, some challenging holes, some easier ones. Greens were in good condition, fairways had some patches of brown. A little pricey on the weekend
