Charbonneau is on the east side of I-5 in Wilsonville south of the river, about 15 minutes south of Portland. The golf course has three 9 hole courses, the Red, Yellow, and Green, and is executive style with only par 3's and par 4's, but the par 3's are generally fairly long. Great place to work on the short game, or get in a quick round. Pleasant environment with tree lined fairways, somewhat rolling ground, good amount of bunkering, and water in play on six holes. All of the courses were designed by Ted Robinson in the mid-1970's, the Red is 2,007 yards, par 31, the Yellow is 2113 yards, par 31, and the Green, 2148 yards, par 71, all from the blue tees. The course is routed through a residential community with OB along the borders, the greens are on the small side, and well conditioned.

Great course for the money ($22 with Tee Time or $24 special during the week). Greens and traps are near perfect. Fairways and rough are generally good with some brown spots mostly in the rough. Snack bar is minimal but staff is very helpful and friendly.
