Chapel Hill is on the west side of Reading on Lancaster Pike, out in the country a bit, routed over rolling hills with natural corridors along the golf course. If you're traveling through the area on the PA Turnpike, it's only about 5 minutes north at the US 222 exit. Parkland style of layout, very fair and straightforward holes, tree lined, and walkable, designed by Don Holloway in the early 1990's, and is short at only 6,000 yards from the tips with a 122 slope, par 70, 69.4 course rating. Don't let the yardage or course rating fool you, it's a shot maker's layout with a lot of water, trees lining the fairways, and smallish greens, and while there's a few birdie opportunities, there's just as many double bogeys!
