Pure golf course, no housing, mostly tree lined fairways with a few open holes, on rolling hills with creeks in play on 6 holes. The course is just off the 101 in Atascadero, between Paso Robles and San Luis Obispo. You won't mistake it for an upscale daily fee golf course in the course design or facilities, but it's a good solid course at reasonable rates. It's fairly short at 6300 yards, 123 slope, and designed by Robert Muir Graves in 1980. Don't let the yardage and slope fool you, the course with the hilly and sloping fairways, and small greens can be tough. Usually in nice shape, and run by good folks.
