The Cardinal Country Club is just off I-95 between Selma and Kenly, 30 minutes south of Wilson, and was very convenient to the interstate to pull off for a quick round of golf. The fairways are lined with trees over slightly rolling hills, there's a stream running through the course across a number of holes, and a lake. Good change of pace, some open holes off the tee, others right and tree lined, mostly straightforward, but a few doglegs. The course was designed by John Nubin in the late 1960's, the back tees are at 6,266 yards, 71.0/123 ratings.
