Carbon Country Club is between Helper and Price on US 191. It's a private golf club, but open to public play at very good rates for the quality of the course. It's short, we got around in 3 hours, and easily walkable. There's a great drivable par four of 230 yards with cliffs in the background, and water in front from an elevated tee. The course is routed around mesas and small canyons in this desert like, foothills, and is a beautiful setting. A good amount of the course is unexciting to play, fairly mundane type holes, but there's a few special ones, and the views are superb. It's 6,209 yards from the blue tees, 119 slope; 5,739 from the white, 116 slope.
