The course is located in Brewster, and designed by Brian Silva in 1985, and named for the multitude of sea captains who resided here in the 1800's. There's two courses here, the Port 6,724 yards, 130 slope from the back tees, Starboard, 6776 yards, and 130 slope. The course is a muni, owned by the town of Brewster. A flattish, tree lined layout, the greens are bentgrass and are medium sized with light undulations and tend to be fast. There's a number of bunkers in the fairways and around the greens on most every hole. The course is well maintained, and worth playing if you're on the Cape

Played both courses, the Port and the Starboard, easily walkable, with the Starboard the better of the two courses, at least for a couple of great holes. The 2nd has a 50 foot drop from the tee, and the 16th, a 470 yard par four, trouble throughout. Nice course, well maintained, pure golf, no housing to interfere with the routing.

Absolutely awesome and fun. Conditions were close to perfect, and the staff was really accommodating. I highly recommend this course.
