Camp Creek Golf Club

Camp Creek is a very difficult Tom Fazio design of 7200+ yards, 152 slope from the championship tees, from the whites, it's 6304, 137 slope. Very scenic design through the coastal dunes and waterways with tree lined fairways, wetlands, ponds, and good movement to the land. Very expensive course, mostly private, but allow outside play, as part of the Watercolor Resort. Pure golf, no housing, cut through the wetlands and trees, just a couple hundred feet from the Gulf, but you won't see it, just the wind will let you know it's nearby. The course was built up off the existing land, so there's some elevation change and mounding. You'll find that on the six holes with water on the front, the water comes into play on the left, while on the back, it's all on the right on four of the holes. The front's a little more open feeling than the tight tree lined back side. The course is adjacent to WaterColor, the master planned resort and residential community, directly on the Gulf of Mexico with a 60 room WaterColor Inn and Resort, unless you're renting one of the private residences here.
