Bunker Hills is due north of Minneapolis in Coon Rapids in the Bunker Hills Regional Park. It was designed originally as 18 holes, but added another nine in 1989, and was designed by Joel Goldstrand & David Gill. Nice variety of hole designs, mostly tree lined fairways on somewhat rolling fairways. It's one of the go to courses in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area, a standard for amateur and pro tournaments. All three nines played in any combination will be 7000 yards from the back tees, 6600 from the regular tees. Nice collection of par threes, and some long par fours, the 1976 USGA National Public Links Championship was held here, so even though there's been some higher profile courses built since, it's still a very strong and well maintained course.

Course is in great shape. Tees, fairways and greens are perfect. The sand in the traps is plentiful but a little heavy. You need to stay in the fairway as the rough is thick and lush, although it is cut to a reasonable length. Excellent staff and snack bar.
