Buffalo Run is one of Colorado's best championship golf courses, was designed by Keith Foster in 1996, and measures 7,411 yards from the back tees down to 5,277 yards from the forward tees, so it's a fair test for all levels. The course is a links style course with mounding through the fairways, no trees, and 65 bunkers, green-side lakes and streams. Buffalo Run is a nice, playable and enjoyable golf course. Most holes are straight away with few dog-legs. Couple of long par 3's, one is over 230 yds. but a bit downhill. Clubhouse is very nice with a restaurant that has a nice assortment of food. Rates are very reasonable for the course, they do have some online specials, so check these out before you play. Pro Shop personal are friendly and helpful. Carts are equipped with GPS. Good place to play, course in good condition. Greens roll well, fairways consistent for good lies, rough is a little sparse in some areas.

Last golf course we played on a 5 day golfing trip to Denver, it was right near the airport, so we played first thing in the morning, and had 15 minutes to the rent car place. Nice copurse to finish the round, golfer friendly with wide fairways, reasonable roughs and big greens in near perfect condition. Reasonable rates, and since we were first off, played in 3 1/2 hours.
