The course is an hour north of Padstow, in the far western finger of England in the coastal resort town of Bude. It was originally designed by Tom Dunn in 1891. It's only plays to 6,057 yards, par 71, the real challenge lies after the 5th hole where the character of the course appears. Very good example of linksland with rolling and tumbling fairways, with open fairways, light rough, and the occasional bunker. Playing to smallish greens that encourage the bump and run shot, it's a delightful course at a reasonable rate.
