The course is located just east of Mt Pleasant, and was designed by Jerry Matthews around 2000. It was routed through an old gravel pit with the Chippewa River running through it. Wetlands and tree lined fairways are dominant here along with three lakes and some forced carries. It's a fun and interesting course with a lot of variety. Three holes play along the Chippewa River, which borders the north end of the course. There's a good amount of trouble on the course, but overall it's a fair layout. With at least four sets of tees located on every hole, Bucks Run, it plays 6,756 yards from the black tees, 6,291 from the white, 5,920 from the gold and 5,090 from the red.
