Brookwater Country Club

Brookwater is on the southwest side of Brisbane by about 30 minutes in Brookwater off the Augusta Parkways. It's undoubtedly one of the better golf courses in Queensland, and is generally recognized as the #1 public access golf course. From the tournament tees, it plays to 6,500m, routed through partly a residential development, and partly forested land on rolling hills and is a Greg Norman design from 2002. Beautiful golf course and surroundings, very well maintained, challenging with many narrow tree lined fairways, well bunkered, and with some water in play. The greens are good sized, undulating, and well guarded with deep faced bunkers. A visually stunning golf course that requires well placed tee and approach shots to have a chance at scoring well.
