Broadlands is southwest of Milwaukee, about 5 miles southwest of Waukesa on WI 59. The course is routed through an upscale housing development, and has a good mix of holes, mostly open links, but has some trees, and a good elevation change. Contrary to traditional links golf, there's water in play on seven holes, but it's still fun to play, a lot of risk/reward opportunities, and the ability to run the ball up to the green. The fairways are bordered by tall prairie grasses and are mounded, sometimes bounding the ball back into the fairways. From the black tees, the course plays to 6,884 yards, 125 slope, and down to 4952 yards, 110 slope, and was designed by Rick Jacobson.
