Bright Leaf resort is about 45 minutes southwest of Lexington in Harrodsburg, on the south side of town on US 127. Bright Leaf has an 18 hole golf course, parkland style, mostly wide open with water on 6 holes. They also have a 9 hole regulation course which is very tight with water on seven holes. The championship course is 6474 yards, 121 slope and was designed by C.R. Buck Blankenship, and opened in 1963. So, so course, wouldn't stay here, but the rates are right for the quality of the course and the overall experience.

Very demanding course. Fairways are tree lined and tight. A lot of water and blind shots. Bring your "A" game.
