Bonita Bay East is another benefit of the recession, and its impact on the golf industry since it has recently opened to public play at the East Courses. There's 36 holes by Tom Fazio, located on Immokalee Road, six miles east of I-75 exit 111.The two courses wind through open areas, marsh and woodland and past cypress stands and is an Audubon International Signature Sanctuary course, so it's all nature with pine flats, lakes, sabal palms, with elevation changes, and uphill and downhill play. The Cypress Course can play to 5,999 to 7,077 yards depending on the tees, and is the longer of the two courses, and the toughest. The front nine's more open than the parkland style layout of the back. The Sabal Course plays from 6,029 yards to 7,038 yard, with more risk/reward type holes. Both course are extremely well maintained, with good clubhouse facilities, and guest service.

Bonita Bay East is a fine golf course, Fazio did a great job with a really flat piece of property. I'm not sure how much action they're going to get in Naples this time of year though, it wasn't very busy when we played and we breezed around, the course was in excellent shape, great day overall.
